Entrepreneurship in Palestine carries a different weight. Starting a company anywhere requires capital, patience, and nerve; starting one here also requires a tolerance for conditions nobody can plan around — closures, power cuts, unreliable connectivity, and markets that can shrink overnight.
Building anyway
Rozza was founded in 2014 with none of the advantages usually listed in a business plan. What it had instead was a clear service, a willingness to learn in public, and clients who were willing to take a chance on a small studio.
Ten years later the company spans branding, 3D, motion, marketing, interiors, web development, and training. That range is not accidental. In a constrained market, breadth is resilience: when one line slows, another carries the team.
Opportunity as a product
- Training programs that turn creative interest into employable skill.
- Mentoring for women-led businesses and young professionals.
- Platforms that connect Palestinian designers to audiences beyond the region.
The most useful thing a creative business can produce here is not only good design. It is the demonstration that this work is a real career — and that it can be practised from Gaza for clients anywhere.
